Day six the morning in the cloud. I woke up to a bed made of white. It was like a whole new world in the hotel. I could not tell did it was in a good or bad way. All I new was that it was differ from the last five days.
It was almost seven when I finally got up but only for the promise of warm food waiting.
Down at breakfast their were fresh cinnamon rolls cereals of all verity cold yogurt and milk. The coolest thing of all was a pancake printer. It looked like a 3D printer. The thing is that when you pushed to go Button you could see batter being poired out. Then it went along this conveyor belt then at the end their would be a fresh pancake. Thinking back on this I should of printed a bunch out for the next part of the trail but no we just went back to our room with full belly’s.
Back at our room we had a giant mess to clean. It’s funny how it can take you ten minutes to make a mess but hours to but it away. That’s what happed here. I needed to repack all my food. The night before went shopping for some essentials. But after packing the bags and throwing away our trash I was done. I thought that it did not take that long in really it took almost two hour. By that time we only had two hours left in our hotel room before we had to leave. I checked the maps to see where we were going and what our plans were. then I just got to just aid down in the bed and blog. It felt nice to post things.
At 11 o’clock we headed down to the frount desk to check out. Then all we had to do was find a shuttle. Lucky as soon as we stepped out of the hotel their was a shuttle their. He told us that he just had to take some hikers to the store to by some food then he would be back. We said ok and then waited we waited and waited we ended up waiting for about and hour and a half.
At one o’clock we made it to the trail head and started up. Last night people had told us that the “ w” was the second hardest part on the trail. The w is a part of the trail where if you look at the elevation map it would look like a w.
After about 2 hours of hiking we. Made it to the middle of the W with not much difficulty. Then we saw the sine for tray mountain. Me and my mom immediately thought of my brother so we made I little video telling him that we were going up to his mountain. It was a short but steep walk up the mountain. The had part about this was for the fact that it was supper windy. Every minut it seemed to be getting colder and colder.
Finally after three hours of hiking we made it too the shelter. luckily their weren’t many people in the shelter so they could easily fit us In I got out the sleeping bags while my mom boiled so water for our dinner. After getting warm in my sleeping bag and waiting for the food to cook we finally ate. It was so warn and delicious. Nothing else eventful really happed on day six besides my mom giving someone about her trail name.
The story is that we were in our sleeping bags trying to get warm when my mom get wacked in the head. At first she thought that it was me but it wasn’t it was the person next to us. My mom rolled over and said are we playing wack a mole. He was confused at fist because he is from Canada so he did not know what it was. After we explained it thought he thought it was a great train name so he took it. See y’all in day seven.
